Hï Ibiza

Hï is the technical benchmark for nightclubs, and that is not marketing. The rig in the Theatre is the best-funded in Europe, the room is engineered rather than converted, and on a good night the sound is so clean it changes what you think a club can be. If you are going to spend €90 on one door charge this season, spend it here.

The catch is that the Theatre is also where everyone else is, and at 02:00 in August it is a wall of phones. The Club Room next door is the better night by a wide margin — smaller, darker, and programmed for people who came for the music rather than the story. Locals go left, not right.

Drinks are the most expensive on the island at €20–25 a spirit and mixer, and there is no in-out. Budget €200 a head realistically, or €1,200 minimum for a table, which split eight ways is roughly what you'd spend at the bar anyway.

Who it's for

Go if: First-timers who want the full spectacle, and anyone who cares about sound quality.

Don't bother if: Anyone on a budget, or anyone who hates a crowd. Try Cova Santa instead.

What it costs

If the door price is the problem, Amnesia is the cheaper option at €50–75 — the terrace at 5am is still one of the best rooms in europe.

Dress code, honestly

Smart-casual and genuinely enforced. Clean trainers fine, beach shorts not.

Getting home

Walkable to Platja d'en Bossa hotels. Discobus and the taxi rank are both outside; book the app before you leave the room.
